The North Castle Town Board has allowed the environmental review of proposed housing at Armonk's Brynwood Golf & Country Club to continue by voting to accept a key document. The document is called a Preliminary Final Environmental Impact Statement and was recently submitted on behalf of the property's owner, Brynwood Partners LLC. The statement includes a revised proposal, with the number of housing units cut from 88 to 80. The revised plan, in turn, has changes including a proposal to paying the difference between what condos will be taxed and what would be paid if the units were single-family homes.
