Ex-Hotel At Armonk's Breezemont Day Camp Gets Landmark Status

North Castle's Town Board recently voted to grant local landmark status to a large building on Breezemont Day Camp's property, that once served as a hotel. Susan Shimer, who is chair of the town's Landmarks Preservation Commission, said that maps from 1867, 1882 and 1891 showed the building.

NWH Receives Five-Star Patient Satisfaction Rating

Northern Westchester Hospital is the first and only hospital in New York State to receive the highest five-star rating for patient satisfaction and is one of only 251 hospitals in the United States to deliver this level of patient satisfaction. Northern Westchester Hospital earned the five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, who introduced its new five-star "Patient Experience" rating system as part of its HCAHPS survey of hospital patient treatment experience.
