The White Plains Hospital family is mourning the unexpected death of Dr. Robert Small who passed away Tuesday morning after a tragic bicycle accident on Friday, according to Dr. Michael Palumbo, Medical Director and Executive Vice President of White Plains Hospital. Dr. Small was a well-known orthopedic surgeon and an active member of the medical staff of White Plains Hospital for 32 years, serving as the president of the White Plains Hospital Medical and Dental Staff.
