Dr. Douglas Fisher, professor of educational leadership at San Diego State University and teacher leader at Health Sciences High and Middle College, will be presenting a lecture on strategies for high-quality teaching and learning at Pace University on Monday, May 4. The event will be held on the Pleasantville campus in the Kessel Student Center from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. He has published numerous articles on reading and literacy, differentiated instruction and curriculum design as well as books, such as "Better Learning Through Structured Teaching," "Rigorous Reading and Checking for Understanding: Formative Assessment Techniques for Your Classroom."
