Tailgating Gets Armonk Man's BMW Impounded In Harrison

A tailgating arrest on Wednesday, Oct. 1, led police to discover another violation that resulted in an Armonk man losing his red BMW to an impound lot. Harrison police said that Nick G. DeClemente, 37, of 68 N. Greenwich Road, Armonk, was spotted tailgating while traveling east in the 2100 block of Westchester Avenue near Kenilworth Road about 2:15 p.m. A routine computer check found that DeClemente's driving privileges were suspended in New York state.

Finding Body Of Missing Armonk Man Tops Week's News

The body found in Chappaqua's Glazier Park was confirmed as that of Armonk resident Miles Applebaum , who had been missing since Monday. The North Castle Town Board unanimously voted not to refer a complaint about Town Clerk Anne Curran to the local Board of Ethics.

North Castle Voters Will Decide On Ward System Referendum

Voters will get to decide in November whether to switch the election of North Castle council members from at-large to a ward system, along with whether to add two more Town Board seats. The proposals, which come from North White Plains resident Tony Futia, call for having the Town Board's council seats to be elected in geographical districts instead of getting votes from across the town.
