Flash Flood Watch For Armonk: Strong Winds, Heavy Rains Expected
Hot, humid air that has settled in the area will contribute to conditions that could result in severe thunderstorms with flooding, heavy downpours, damaging winds, frequent lightning and a possible tornado on Monday as a cold front moves in from the west. Breaks of sun during the day will heighten the chance for severe storm later in the day by destabilizing the atmosphere.

Hit-Run Crash Under Investigation In North Castle
A driver reported a hit-and-run accident on Middle Patent Road, where the other motorist sped off north on Bedford Banksville Road on Friday, June 6. The complainant, who was not in possession of a cell phone at the time of the accident, was forced to drive back to his home to make the emergency 911 call, police said. According to police, the caller described the other vehicle as a white BMW convertible, driven by a white male.

Paving Begins At North Castle Farms
North Castle Farms in Armonk is set to receive something of a makeover this week as paving begins in the area. The North Castle Highway Department announced that paving on Barnard Road, Nichols Road and Limestone Road is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, weather permitting.
