Essay writing and science workshops will be offered during winter break at The Center for Literacy Enrichment at Pace University in White Plains from Tuesday, Feb. 17 through Friday, Feb. 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Geared for students in grades one through five, the science workshop will teach children how to observe, analyze and deduce while conducting various experiments. The Essay Writing Workshop will help students in grades six through 12 focus on skills for successful essay writing including understanding the topic, brainstorming and sentence structure and paragraph flow.
