The Op-Ed columnist who was hailed by some and lambasted by others after she wrote about her decision to allow her 9-year-old to ride a New York City subway alone is scheduled to speak at H.C. Crittenden Middle School later this month. Lenore Skenazy, author of "Free-Range Kids," is set to discuss how parents today can provide their children with the same freedoms enjoyed by children of previous generations.
