Scammers Attempt To Gain Access To Armonk Home, Police Say

The North Castle Police Department is investigating a possible scammer who attempted to gain access to an Armonk residence by posing as a contractor. Officers were dispatched to a Brundage Street home shortly before 2:15 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11, when a woman reported that a suspicious man had just come to her door, asking to gain entry into her home to view her Con Edison gas meter.

Hit-And-Run, Van Break-Ins Top North Castle Police Department Blotter

Detectives from the North Castle Police Department are investigating a hit-and-run accident that left property damage in Armonk. Shortly before 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, a driver went to police headquarters to report that she had been involved in a crash on Maple Avenue that resulted in property damage.
