Erratic Flatbed Driver, Shoplifter Lead North Castle Police Blotter

A truck driver received a stern warning from police in North Castle after nearly striking flaggers in the roadway conducting traffic control on Route 433 in Armonk. New York State Department of Transportation Highway workers reported to the North Castle Police Department on Tuesday morning that a driver in a flatbed truck drove through the work zone as crews were paving blacktop on the roadway.

Police Investigating Scam Involving Verizon Imposters In North Castle

The North Castle Police Department received a report from a resident of Nash Place in Armonk regarding two men who claimed to be with Verizon that knocked on her door and requested to look around the property to bury exposed Fios wires. Police said that the two men were carrying shovels, but no further description was provided.

Kids Donate Backpacks To Needly Children In Jamaica

Man Allegedly Exposes Himself, Urinates On Sidewalk Outside Armonk Bank

An allegedly intoxicated man exposed himself and urinated on the sidewalk in front of a woman outside of a bank in Armonk. A woman reported to police in North Castle that she was in the parking lot of Citibank on Main Street at approximately 11:40 a.m. on Sunday, July 2, when a man, believed to be in his 60s, exposed pulled down his pants and began urinating on the sidewalk and grass area in the rear parking lot, police said.
